This is a permanent, full-time position, working from our South Melbourne office (8am-4pm) 5 days per week.

The role: 

This critical administrative function plays a vital role in providing high-quality admin and project support to our talented APAC Operations team, ensuring the smooth delivery of road safety related services to both internal and external customers. This includes managing monthly invoicing, generating purchase orders, maintaining accurate records, and overseeing contractor compliance with safety standards. Additionally, the role offers the opportunity to act as the second-in-charge (2IC) to the Business Support Manager when required. You'll be a collaborative team member, driving operational efficiency while upholding Verra Mobility's commitment to quality, sustainability, and safety. As a Business Support Specialist at Verra Mobility you will:

  • Collaborate as a positive and active member of the APAC Operations team, aligning with Verra Mobility’s values.
  • Process monthly invoices and manage purchase orders for goods and services in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate registers, spreadsheets, and deliver customer reports per SLAs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Manage work permits, contractor agreements, and ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety standards via our Linksafe app.
  • Oversee multiple customer support inboxes and perform various administrative tasks to support daily operations.

Who are you?

As the ideal candidate for this role you are detail-oriented, with the ability to tackle challenges through strong problem-solving skills and adaptability under pressure. You’re customer-focused, ensuring satisfaction while effectively building relationships and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders. Proficient in the MS Office Suite, with experience in SAP ByDesign preferred, you bring a minimum of 3+ years in business support or office/operational administration. Additionally, you possess foundational project support skills and have worked in regulated environments. A Cert IV in Business Administration and a full Australian Driver’s License are highly desirable.
