Position Overview:
In this role, you will ensure the people strategy is implemented across our talent practices and operationalized to all employees. You should be a friendly, self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills that will ultimately be responsible for creating, implementing, and managing Verra Mobility’s performance and lean initiatives. While partnering closely with colleagues across the organization to align performance, development, and lean practices across Verra Mobility.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of a learning and development strategy and programs that are aligned with Verra Mobility's culture and organizational objectives.
- Design, develop and produce training materials, including e-learning courses.
- Lead talent and development processes and programs to develop an engaged and diverse workforce
- Partner with HR and Business leaders to refine the talent review process that supports identifying and developing high-performing and high-potential talent, identifying talent risks and associated strategies, and a future succession planning process that will enable internal mobility through effective development plans.
- Plan, design, redesign and manage new and existing development programs, creating talent solutions that focus on the growth and retention of our talent.
- Use data to evaluate and track the effectiveness of current programs and recommend/implement enhancements and new initiatives, as appropriate.
- Lead change management efforts and associated communication of company talent initiatives, partnering with internal communications.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to communicate performance and development program goals and objectives and ensure the program’s success through well-defined feedback and measurement.
- Develop and deliver training content on topics of management, leadership, problem-solving, and other topics.
- Review current learning programs and recommend future programs based on leadership development needs. Establish an implementation strategy, leveraging internal and external resources as appropriate.
- Remain current on talent and performance best practices, leveraging external partnerships and networks.
- Oversee the end-to-end onboarding experience and process of new employees. Collect employee feedback and use it to find effective ways to improve our company’s onboarding process.
- Develop and implement Lean and VMOS practices throughout the organization to create a high-performance culture.
- Stay connected to the latest developments in learning trends, and changes in learning theory.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, organizational development, human resources, or closely related field, preferred
- 10+ years of experience in an HR role demonstrating expertise and leading initiatives in learning and development, organizational development, succession planning, strategizing
- Experience in change management, talent management, and development, rotational programs, or leadership development is a plus
- Outstanding organization and project management skills with the ability to manage the delivery of high-quality, on-time programs in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, communication, and relationship-building skills with an ability to manage multiple clients with multiple needs efficiently and effectively.
- Executive level presentation experience and proven proficiency
- Experience coaching leadership and expertise in change management and strategic communication is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated capability in process improvement implementation.
- Vendor management and project management experience strongly desired.
- Consultative orientation, strong listening skills
- Exhibit strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong relationship-building skills with a proven track record of accomplishments in a multi-functional team environment
