Verra Mobility is a global leader in smart mobility. Verra Mobility Commercial Services creates smart roadways, serving the world's largest commercial fleets and rental car companies to manage tolling transactions and violations. Arizona-based Verra Mobility Corp. currently operates in 15 countries and in 22 languages.
We have established our European headquarters in Amsterdam, from which we have launched our tolling and violation management solution business in Europe in 2019. We further have offices in London, Paris, Madrid, and Budapest, with a workforce of close to 100 people.
Our European tolling business has established relationships with tolling authorities throughout Spain, Portugal, France, Italy and Ireland, through which we offer interoperable electronic tolling directly to consumers, through white-label partnerships and to RAC customers, depending on location.
Additionally, our European violations business specializes in the identification, notification, and collection of unpaid traffic, parking and public transport related fees, charges, and penalties issued to foreign registered vehicles or persons on behalf of issuing authorities in more than 17 European countries. We provide our services in more than 20 languages and more than 10 currencies and to leverage existing connections with approximately 30 vehicle licensing authorities and over 600 toll and ticket-issuing authorities for whom we bill violators in more than 135 countries.

We are growing quickly in Europe, and we are currently hiring a seasoned Test Lead to work with a multi-disciplinary team of software developers, subject matter experts and solutions architects to deliver cloud-based mobility solutions for our customers.
If you also have 5+ years of experience in software testing and enjoy contributing with a team of diverse engineers spread across remote locations, we will be pleased to know about you.
What you'll do:
· Guide and mentor QA team members, providing guidance on testing methodologies, tools and techniques, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
· Expertise in one or more software testing methodologies.
· Provide expert advice on any aspect of test planning and execution.
· Perform comprehensive regression testing when resolving bugs.
· Support and guide test case creation through detailed technical analysis of functional and non-functional specifications.
· Define test policy and manage related support processes.
· Take responsibility for managing testing activities.
· Create detailed and comprehensive test cases, reviewed and approved together with product owners.
· Plan - Align with product roadmap and backlogs, planning necessary throughput, and capacity.
· Execute – with the team to deliver the committed projects, on time within budget with quality, help manage changes/disruptions to the team, partner with other managers/teams adhering to best practices, process and audit constraints.
· Communicate – keep both stakeholders and team informed on status, issues and risks.
· Ensure internal company policies are followed on time and accurately.
What we’re looking for:
· English: C1
· Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, or related discipline.
· 5+ years of experience in software testing.
· Hands on knowledge on Playwright testing framework.
· Proven ability to effectively deal with cross-functional software development teams.
· Practical experience in agile methodologies
We'd be particularly excited if you have:
· Practical knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, and SQLServer.
· Handson experience on other automated testing tools.
· Previous experience leading and managing QA teams.
· Proven experience in setting up and operating in scaled and distributed environments.
· Good communication skills. Used to interact with client and application end-users.
· Spanish: B2 or upper.
