About the Role

We are seeking a strategic, creative, and highly collaborative Manager, Corporate Communication to help shape and strengthen our employee experience during an exciting period of business transformation. As a $1B publicly traded B2B global transportation technology company, Verra Mobility operates in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment that requires clear, consistent and inspiring communication throughout the organization. This role will be central to driving cultural alignment, increasing employee engagement, supporting change management and ensuring our people feel informed, motivated and connected to our brand.

This position will report to the Director of Global Communications and Branding and will partner closely with senior business leaders and the HR organization. This role will work hand in hand with our Manager of Employee Engagement and Change Management.

The ideal candidate is both a strategist and a hands‑on communicator who is comfortable partnering across functions, simplifying complex topics, and delivering compelling messages that resonate with diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Communications

  • Develop and execute an integrated internal communications strategy that supports company priorities, culture change initiatives and executive communication needs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on communication planning, messaging and organizational change.
  • Develop communication frameworks for key company initiatives.
  • Build communication programs that reinforce company purpose, vision and values.

Content Development

  • Write clear and consistent messaging for company-wide announcements, executive communications, town halls, email campaigns, intranet content, employee newsletters and video scripts.
  • Ensure communications reflect our culture, tone, and brand while simplifying complex business and technology topics for internal audiences.
  • Manage an editorial calendar to provide employees with a predictable, engaging communications cadence.

Communications Channel Management

  • Oversee internal communication channels (email, intranet, digital signage, video, companywide all-hands events).
  • Continuously evaluate channel effectiveness and recommend improvements based on employee feedback and analytics.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with Marketing, HR, IT, Operations, Legal and other key functions to align messaging and ensure consistent communication across the organization.
  • Partner closely with HR and senior leadership to support culture change initiatives, including engagement campaigns, recognition programs, and leadership visibility.
  • Support leaders in preparing presentations, talking points, and communications materials for internal events and strategic initiatives.

Measurement & Insights

  • Track and analyze communication program effectiveness through engagement metrics, feedback mechanisms, and pulse surveys.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and enhance the impact of internal communication programs.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or related roles at a technology company or similarly fast-paced industry.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with an ability to simplify complex information for various audiences.
  • Experience supporting or leading culture change, organizational transformation, or employee engagement initiatives.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Experience working with executive leadership.
  • Comfortable in a publicly traded company environment; experience with compliance-conscious communication preferred.
  • Proficiency with communication and content tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, intranet and employee engagement platforms, analytics tools).
