Position Overview:

The Manager of HR Shared Services Operations is responsible for leading the delivery of centralized HR services to ensure operational excellence. This position plays a pivotal role in shaping the efficiency and scalability of HR operations while driving a consistent and high-quality employee experience. As the Manager of HR Shared Services Operations, you will work cross-functionally with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, IT, and leadership to align HR operations with organizational goals.

This role will lead a team responsible for critical HR operational functions, inclusive of service delivery, process improvements and optimization, system and data management, cyclical process project management, and compliance with an emphasis on employee-focused solutions.

Essential Responsibilities:

· Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of the HR Shared Services team.

· Develop and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of HR services.

· Monitor and resolve non-priority employee inquiries and escalations for the HR team.

· Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the employee experience.

· Lead and manage cyclical HR processes and projects, such as performance review cycles, compensation planning, open enrollment, and compliance audits, ensuring timely execution, clear communication, and alignment with organizational goals.

· Partner with stakeholders to standardize and document HR workflows and procedures.

· Partner with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and other departments to align shared service functions with broader HR and business strategies.

· Ensure compliance with labor laws, data privacy regulations, and internal policies.

 

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, information systems, or related discipline.

· 5+ years of experience in HR operations or shared services, including 3+ years in a leadership role.

· Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, ADP).

· Lean Six Sigma or process improvement certification preferred.

· High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

· Proven ability to solve complex employee matters coupled with ability to communicate to stakeholders.

· Demonstrated ability and experience translating business needs into written technical business requirements.

· Knowledge of security, data privacy regulations, and compliance.

· Must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills and be able to work effectively with diverse groups of people in a team environment.
