Court Support Specialist I
Position Overview
The Court Support Specialist is responsible for effectively communicating with internal and external customers on all matters related to court evidence packages. This position will involve timely response and supply requested packages in the agreed-upon format for all requests for Court Evidence Packages received via e-mail. Additionally, this position will oversee the resolution and/or tracking of reported issues while ensuring a timely resolution. An ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to manage priorities effectively to meet customer and departmental expectations.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and process high volumes of customer requests in accordance with applicable business rules and statutes.
- Become intimately familiar with the business rules for each customer and deliver timely and accurate service.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Process internal requests from operational or support teams as required.
- Adhere to assigned service levels.
- Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and Excel)
- Able to type a minimum of 40 Word Per Minimum and exhibit a data entry skill set.
- Strong communication, both verbal and written
- 1+ years of data entry experience required
- Demonstrated ability to work and problem solve independently as well as recognize when to escalate issues
- Make sound decisions and accept/act upon constructive feedback
- Adhere to professional behavioral expectations and the ability to work well with different groups and departments
- Must be able to communicate effectively in the English language.
- Capable of reviewing data and/or images on a computer monitor for extended periods (typically 8 hours shifts)
