Position Overview:

The Marketing and Communications team is responsible for communicating the value of partnering with Verra Mobility using innovative methods to position the business as the market leader and build demand for our solutions. We tell Verra Mobility’s most important and interesting stories to educate government organizations about what is possible when you embrace technology to change driver behavior, enhance urban mobility, improve safety, and save lives.

Our team is looking for an insightful and experienced Product Marketer to build and market our compelling solution narratives that capture the full set of capabilities offered by the breadth of our solution and platform offerings. Join us, and you'll shape and deliver crisp, highly differentiated positioning and messaging, core solution content and collateral, and product launch initiatives. This role is at the center of a cross-functional stakeholder group across product management, sales, and marketing, requiring that you work collaboratively to drive innovation and business-critical outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product marketing strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and growth of the evolving Government Solutions portfolio.
  • Lead the end-to-end product launch process, from ideation and development to post-launch optimization.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to help guide product strategy alongside Product Management and understand unmet market needs, buyer personas, and market landscape.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment, execution, and business results.
  • Develop compelling, differentiated messaging, positioning, and narratives tailored to the solution offerings and the target audiences.
  • Work closely with the Product Management teams to understand and champion the product roadmaps.
  • Support the training and enablement of a growing sales organization.
  • Generate product-oriented content that showcases our differentiation, including pitch decks, demos, product one-pagers, FAQs, and more for both internal and external audiences.
  • Partner with your Marketing and Communications teammates to build and share awareness-building content, including blogs and presentations for industry events.
  • Create and drive metrics to measure progress for the go-to-market efforts.
  • Manage budgets with clear ROI on Product Marketing initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must have at least 3 years of Product Marketing experience with 7 years of Product experience overall, preferably with direct experience in the technology industry and government market segments.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of Product Marketing practices, with an ability to creatively message technical concepts (both hardware and software) to a broad audience of customers and prospects.
  • Confident presenter and public speaker with live audiences, on video, in webinars, etc.
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Analytical acumen with a creative mindset, able to juggle and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships across multiple stakeholders.
  • Team player, ready to ensure team success.
  • Direct people leader experience
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications, or other related fields.
  • Must be able to come into office in Mesa, AZ up to two times per week.
  • Successful completion of the Nlets fingerprint and background assessment.
